Valentine's Day lunch

We were absolutely thrilled with the success of our special St Valentine's Day lunch which was held here on Sunday February 14th.
We held an afternoon of love poetry, music and song after a traditional Sunday lunch.
There was barely a dry eye in the house as pianist Frank Ryding and Broadfield Court's co-owner Alexandra James, a Royal Shakespeare Company actress, collaborated for a recital of love poetry and song.
Both Mr Ryding and Mrs James are part of a recital group along with actor Sir Derek Jacobi who regularly perform at venues in Herefordshire, Shropshire and beyond.
Mrs James said: "We held the same sort of event four years ago which was also a huge success.
"The feedback we have received has been hugely positive.
"I can't praise the staff in the kitchen enough - they produced really top quality food which was perfectly prepared and on time, no easy task given that we were absolutely packed."
